Professional Staff![]() Dr. Donna A. Gulick, PT, DPTDr. Gulick co-founded Orthosports with her business partner in 1989. She graduated from Daemen College in Amherst, NY in 1984. She returned to Daemen and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2005. Donna has recently earned advanced certification in Pilates mat instruction. She has extensive experience in orthopedics, and has completed many continuing education courses. Her specialties include the following: manual therapy, orthopedics, aquatic therapy, wellness, lymphedema and sports rehabilitation. Dr. Gulick is our clinical site coordinator, and is a certified clinical instructor. She is a member of the APTA. Also, Donna is an avid runner, and has participated in several marathons, which has raised thousands of dollars for the American Stroke Association. She loves playing softball, and is active in her church. Donna and her husband Dean enjoy camping, attending sporting events and travelling. ![]() Dr. Peter H. Young, PT, DPT, cert. MDTDr. Young co-founded Orthosports in 1989 with his business partner. He graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1984 with a B.S. in Exercise Science, and 1986 in Physical Therapy. Peter returned to school at Daemen College, where he completed his DPT in 2005. Dr. Young earned certification from McKenzie Institute, USA, and has been a member of the organization since 2001. He specializes in spinal rehabilitation, orthopedics, manual techniques, TMJ therapy, sports rehab, wellness, and aquatic therapy. He has completed numerous continuing education courses since entering private practice. Peter is a clinical instructor. Peter enjoys spending time with his wife, Karen, his family, and his dog. He is also active in his church. ![]() Wayne Savitz, PTWayne graduated from Kent State University in Ohio with a B.A. in Biology. He went on to graduate from the University at Buffalo with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1972. Mr. Savitz ran the Sports Injury Clinic with Ray Melchiorre, who was the trainer of the Buffalo Braves. In 1984, Wayne developed the Village Glenn Physical Therapy Clinic. Two years later he opened Clarence Physical Therapy on Main Street in Clarence, and has successfully treated patients for over 22 years. Wayne specializes in orthopedics, sports related injuries, and manual techniques. He has attended numerous continuing education courses on these, and related topics, and continues to update his knowledge, and skills. Wayne enjoys all sports, and spending time with his two daughters. ![]() Linda S. Brade, PTAMrs. Brade graduated from Genesee Community College in 1994, and is an integral part of Orthosports. She has received training in manual techniques, orthopedics, aquatics, and spine therapy. She works closely with doctors Young and Gulick implementing individually designed treatment programs. Linda enjoys time with her husband and family and dog.
