The short answer? Everyone.

Here’s why.

The M.O.G. has developed a unique approach to fitness that accommodates any individual’s needs.

We believe that physical activity is the best kind of medicine.

“I love the personalized attention. I never dreamed I would walk again after my stroke 4 years ago.” – Eugene

Some members are referred with an “exercise prescription” from their doctor or therapist. Others join the M.O.G. to get healthier or lose weight. No matter why you’re here, your personal exercise treatment plan will address all factors involved in your health. Through a comprehensive review of your health history, our staff will ensure that we have all the information necessary to work with you safely and effectively.

Insurance may cover some sessions with a medical referral.

M.O.G. members might be here to improve one or more of the following:

Heart Health

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) continues to be the leading cause of death in both men and women and the prevalence of risk factors continues to rise. Exercise is proven to be one of the most powerful medications to manage CVD risk factors. However, many people are unable to maintain therapeutic levels of physical activity due to chronic pain or musculoskeletal issues such as arthritis, back pain or knee problems. The M.O.G.’s expert medically trained staff will provide a safe and supervised exercise treatment program by working with all aspects of your health history. Our functional exercise equipment and private exercise room gives patients with CVD the best environment to remain active, be confident and stay safe.

Our individualized program includes:

Initial Evalulation with Physical Therapist and Clinical Exercise Physiologist
Blood Pressure and Tracking
Symptom Management (Angina, Shortness of Breath, etc)
Heart Failure and Weight Gain Tracking
Direct Communication with Physicians
Clinical Protocols Guiding Safety with Exercise

You can't get that at an ordinary gym.
